We don’t ever want you to feel like you need to go searching for answers to your questions. Oral health care is very personal, and everyone has unique needs. We take the time to get to know you so you feel comfortable asking questions and getting the information you need to make sound decisions about your treatment.
We’ve shared some of the questions we hear most often, but we know you probably have others that aren’t listed here. No question is too small, and we encourage you to contact us if you need more information.
Do you accept my insurance?
Insurance and the cost of treatment play a major part in the decisions you make about your dental care. For your convenience, we are happy to process all insurance claims. If you have a question about what your specific insurance covers, please give us a call.
Are you accepting new patients?
Absolutely! We look forward to welcoming you to our practice so you can get to know us and learn more about our exceptional dental care.
Do you have late office hours?
We understand that you and your family have a busy life with lots of obligations. Getting great dental care shouldn’t be inconvenient, and our flexible schedule allows us to see you when it works best for you. Please contact us, and we’ll be happy to get you set up for your next appointment.
Do you treat children? When should I schedule their first appointment?
Managing your child’s oral health care from an early age sets the stage for great dental health that lasts a lifetime. We generally recommend that you bring your child in to see us as soon as they begin teething but no later than age one.
Monitoring your child’s oral health is obviously important, and the first few visits are meant to help your child get used to our team and the new environment. Our primary goal at this stage is to make sure they feel completely safe and secure with us.
We’ll take the time to introduce your child gradually to all the new sights and sounds of a dental office. During these early visits, we’ll show your child that dentistry can be fun – we’ll count their teeth and even let them take a ride in the dental chair.
The idea of your child’s first visit can be a bit overwhelming for both of you. But we assure you that our team always makes it a point to treat children with kindness and respect for their unique needs. Once we know your child is completely comfortable with us, we can start to perform any necessary treatments like exams and cleanings.
We would love to help start your child off with a positive feeling about their dental care. Please contact our Meriden dental office to arrange that all-important first visit!
Do you have payment plans?
We are pleased to offer financing that allows you to get important dental treatment when you need it. We accept all major credit cards and work with CareCredit, an interest-free healthcare credit card. Please contact our office for more information.
Do you offer teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic treatment available today, and we are happy to offer the service here at our Meriden dental office. There is nothing like professional teeth whitening to bring out the natural beauty of your smile!
Our whitening options are designed with your unique needs in mind. We want you to be thrilled with the results, so the first step is to spend some time talking to you about your expectations, timeline, and budget.
For your convenience, we offer both in-office and take-home whitening. Both are very effective, and the one we choose is mostly a matter of personal preference.
If you’d like to have your teeth whitening completed in one appointment, in-office treatment is the way to go. Using professional-strength whitening gel, we can help you achieve beautiful results in under an hour.
You may prefer to have a bit more control over the whitening process, and in this case, we will recommend one of our professional at-home kits.
You may be wondering why our kits are preferable to those you find in your drug store.
First, as dental professionals, we can prescribe a highly concentrated whitening gel that is stronger than anything you can purchase over the counter. Also, we customize a whitening tray using impressions of your teeth. This allows the gel to cover all surfaces of your teeth evenly for consistent results.
If you’d like more information about the beautiful results we can help you achieve with professional teeth whitening, please give us a call!
What are my treatment options?
Premier Dental is a full-service practice specializing in the repair and restoration of badly damaged teeth. Our doctors have advanced training in all areas of dentistry so that we can handle your needs in one location. This is not only convenient, but it also allows you to receive care by friendly professionals who know you and always have your best interest at heart.
We can address a wide spectrum of needs, and no matter what the current state of your oral health, we can help. Before we undertake any treatment, though, it’s important to make sure your gums are healthy. We are happy to provide basic services like cleanings and exams that prevent cavities and gum disease. But if a problem does develop, our gentle gum disease treatment can help you get your oral health back on track.
Restorations like crowns and bridges are widely used, but we think we do them better than anyone else! Dr. Simanovich has advanced training and skill and can create restorations that restore oral health and look completely natural. We’re also skilled at designing dentures that restore function and actually enhance your appearance.
A healthy mouth is important, but we always want you to look your best, and services like porcelain veneers and teeth whitening will put the perfect finishing touch on your smile. These are just a few of the treatments we offer, so please contact our office for more information.
Will my treatment hurt?
At Premier Dental, we pride ourselves on providing stress-free dental treatments. A gentle touch is essential, but a team of compassionate professionals makes all the difference when it comes to your comfort.
First, we want you to know that both Dr. Simanovich and Dr. Mancini are experienced in handling a wide variety of basic and complex dental treatments. They understand and respect your concerns and focus on helping you relax. This makes your treatment far more comfortable and allows us to be more efficient, reducing the time you spend in the dental chair.
If you get stressed about visiting the dentist, you are not alone. Dental anxiety is very real and a huge problem for lots of people. We understand this and want to do everything we can to make your visit as stress-free as possible. Our gentle approach and warm chairside manner has helped many of our fearful patients breeze through their treatment.
If you need a little more help to relax, we offer helpful sedation options. Depending on your level of anxiety, we can recommend nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or a combination of both. But most of our patients find that we’re so gentle they don’t need any sedation.
Please don’t put off dental treatment because you feel anxious. We would love the chance to show you how gentle, compassionate care can allow you to get the important treatment you need.
